PURCHASING A GIFT CARD

You can purchase PrettyLittleThinges e-gift cards here. Please note e-gift cards are virtual cards which will be sent via email.
The e-gift card will be sent via email to the chosen recipient to use on the PrettyLittleThinges US store only.
E-gift cards may be purchased and activated for a minimum value of £5 and a maximum value of £500 (or equivalent local currency amount). Only amounts to the nearest pound will be accepted.
E-gift cards are only available in the same currency the e-gift card was bought from. Payment for e-gift cards is accepted by all of our payment vendors including debit and credit card and our Buy Now Pay Later providers. Please note you cannot purchase a PLT Gift Card with PayPal.
Promotional and discount codes cannot be used when purchasing a gift card.
Payment on www.prettylittlethinges.shop will be taken by a third-party company, Worldpay or Adyen and will show on your bank statement as “PLT”.
PrettyLittleThinges do not accept responsibility for any losses resulting from any e-gift card being delivered to an incorrect email address due to errors made by you within your order. You must therefore take extra care when entering details in your order.

RECEIVING A GIFT CARD

Once your order has been approved by PLT and your payment has cleared for the full purchase value of your e-gift card, your e-gift card will be delivered to the email address you nominate for delivery when completing your order. The email address you nominate for delivery should be the person you have nominated to receive and use your e-gift card.
Provided your payment has cleared, your e-gift card will be delivered to your nominated email address on the specific date you nominate for delivery when placing your order. The specific delivery date you nominate for delivery when placing your order must be within 3 months of the date of your order. It is mandatory to enter a date and time for your e-gft card to be delivered. If your payment has not cleared by the specific date you nominate for delivery, your e-gift card will be delivered after your payment has cleared.
PLT do not accept responsibility for any losses resulting from any e-gift card being delivered to an incorrect email address due to errors made by you within your order. You must therefore take extra care when entering details in your order.

REDEEMING A GIFT CARD

To redeem a gift card is quick and easy. Simply click on the link within your e-gift card email. This will then take you to log into your account or create a PLT account if you don’t have one. PLEASE NOTE you can only use e-gift cards on the PLT account that is associated with the email address that you received your e-gift card through.
Once logged in the value of the gift card will automatically be added to your account balance. You can check your account balance on your account page or when you are logged in at checkout. You account balance can be used alongside other payment methods.
If you have multiple PLT accounts, we are unable to merge or move any account credit over to another account.
Your e-gift card can only be used to make purchases online in the same county and currency the e-gift card was bought from. Any purchases made using any amount on your e-gift card by you or any other person will be subject to our website Terms and Conditions, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
The amount on your e-gift card cannot be used to purchase items from any of PLT’s affiliate brands, including Boohoo, Boohooman, Nasty Gal, Misspap, Karen Millen, Coast, Warehouse, Oasis, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis or Burton. If the entire amount on your e-gift card has not been spent, the remaining balance will still be credited to your account. There is no expiry date for your account credit.
The amount on your e-gift card can be used towards the purchase amount of items that are priced higher than the balance of your e-gift card, provided that you or the user making the transaction also pay the difference for such items using one of our prescribed payment methods.

EXPIRY

There are no expiry and activation cut off dates with PLT gift cards.

HOW DO I CHECK THE BALANCE ON MY GIFT CARD?

The balance of your gift card can be found in your account. All gift cards will be credited to your account for future purchases. Your balance will also appear at checkout when you are logged in.

RETURNING AN ITEM PURCHASED WITH A GIFT CARD?

If you or the person you have nominated to receive and use your e-gift card have purchased items with an e-gift card but then return the items and are entitled to a refund for them in accordance with our general website Terms and Conditions. Any money owing by us for the refund will be added to the remaining credit will be added to your account balance (for any purchase amount originally taken from your e-gift card) or refunded to the other prescribed payment method used to pay us (for any purchase amount originally taken from another prescribed payment method other than the e-gift card).

HAVEN’T RECEIVED THE GIFT CARD?

If you’ve purchased a gift card and you or the recipient has not received it, first check your junk folder. Still no luck? Please get in touch here.
If you have decided to buy a gift card for someone as a surprise and have not heard from them in a couple of days please double check the email address you sent it to ensure all details are correct. If all details are correct please give the recipient a nudge to check their account.
PrettyLittleThinges shall not be responsible if an e-gift card is corrupted, deleted or used without permission. We reserve the right to refuse to accept an e-gift card which we deem to have been duplicated, or otherwise suspect has been affected by fraud.
We cannot be held responsible for e-gift cards that cannot be delivered due to the recipient’s spam filters, firewalls, capacity of the mailbox, and any other factors outside our control.
PLT are not responsible if an e-gift card is corrupted, deleted or used without permission. We reserve the right to refuse to accept an e-gift card which we deem to have been duplicated, or otherwise suspect has been affected by fraud.

I CHANGED MY MIND, CAN I HAVE A REFUND ON THE GIFT CARD I’VE PURCHASED?

Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred for value. If you have entered an incorrect senders email address please get in touch with our CS team here.
Gift Cards cannot be refunded once the gift card has been activated by the recipient. You have the right to cancel your e-gift card within 14 days of it being received at your nominated email address for delivery provided that you give PLT formal written notice of your intention to cancel by contacting our customer services team here. If you decide to exercise your cancellation right, PLT will refund the amount of your e-gift card to the original payment method used to purchase the e-gift card within 30 days of our customer services team receiving your written notice of cancellation. You may not cancel any e-gift card which has already been redeemed.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By purchasing a PrettyLittleThinges e-gift card, you agree to enter into a contract with PrettyLittleThinges and to be bound by these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use and our website Terms and Conditions which are incorporated into these Terms and Conditions, so please read them carefully before purchasing. By purchasing an e-gift card you accept that your contract with us for the e-gift card will be governed by these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use and our website Terms and Conditions. E-gift cards and their balance cannot be returned or refunded, in whole or in part, except in accordance with your statutory legal rights. E-gift cards and their balance cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred for any value by you or anyone else other than for purchasing items from PLT. We reserve the right to cancel any order for your e-gift card and refund any monies you have paid to us if we discover any pricing or other errors in relation to the order prior to the time of dispatch. We will contact you in these circumstances and will give you the opportunity to place a new order. Your refund will be processed within 5 working days. We also reserve the right to terminate your order for your e-gift card if we believe you have breached any of these Terms and Conditions or if we suspect fraudulent activity. If we terminate your order we will refund the sums you have paid to us within 5 working days, less any costs directly incurred by us as a consequence of your breach of these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to change or add to these Terms and Conditions for security, legal or regulatory requirements. We will give you at least one month’s notice of any such changes or additions. If you require further information about our Terms and Condition, or your use of your e-gift card, please contact a member of our customer services team here. By purchasing a PLT e-gift card (e-gift card), you agree to enter into a contract with PLT and to be bound by these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use and our website Terms and Conditions which are incorporated into these Terms and Conditions, so please read them carefully before purchasing. PLT / we / our means PrettyLittleThinges.shop Limited. We are a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 07352417 and with our registered office at 49/51 Dale Street, Manchester, England M1 2HF. Our UK VAT number is 100 5694 47. We may use third parties to perform any or all of our responsibilities relating to your e-gift card. You / your means only the person who has purchased the e-gift card from us. If you nominate another person to receive and use your e-gift card, you are authorising that person to use your e-gift card and any balance on your e-gift card. Please note that e-gift cards are not regulated as payment instruments under the Payment Services Regulations 2017 and amounts on them are not electronic money under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011. Accordingly, rights and protections under those regulations do not apply and the Financial Conduct Authority does not supervise this service or the e-gift cards.
